资源简介:

Data-quality advisory (31 July 2026): A post-publication audit identified material quality-control issues affecting a subset of records in version 1.2, including duplicate identifiers; entity, source, and media associations; coordinate-to-location consistency; category and trust semantics; and temporal fields. Version 1.2 is preserved unchanged for reproducibility and should not be treated as a validated building-level ground-truth release. The live dataset at crisisvenezuela.org has been corrected and is current; a superseding version with a corrections manifest is in preparation, and users should consult the concept DOI once it is published. Geolocated, source-cited records of building damage, aid points, and needs from the 24 June 2026 Venezuela earthquake doublet (M7.2 + M7.5 near Veroes, Yaracuy), aggregated in near-real-time from public sources (press, social media, official seismic and aid feeds, and partner datasets including NZSEE), deduplicated by proximity+name clustering (one record per physical structure), and graded by a doctrine-based trust model (UK College of Policing 3x5x2 axes, NATO STANAG 2511 independence, Copernicus EMS damage confidence). Snapshot of 2026-07-02: 17,000+ records; ~1,200 specifically identified damaged structures; per-record provenance and trust object included. The live, continuously updated data remains at crisisvenezuela.org (open API: /api/v1/facts). Files: facts.json (master records), points.json + points.geojson (map layer, GIS-ready), colapsos.json/.csv (+ HXL-tagged variant) (curated damaged-structure table), openapi.json (machine-readable schema), DATA_README.md (method, limitations, rights, versioning policy), CODEBOOK.md (field-by-field data dictionary). Method and limitations are documented honestly: records are remote, text/media-derived observations, not ground truth or occupancy-safety judgments; geocoded coordinates carry ~1 km median error (measured); casualty figures and missing-persons data are excluded by design. Full methodology: crisisvenezuela.org/docs/trust. This platform's data is used by NASA's Disasters Response Coordination team, NSF-funded GEER, and NZSEE, whose Learning from Earthquakes VERT Venezuela 2026 report names crisisvenezuela.org a collaborating party. v1.1 (2026-07-03): codebook reformatted for portability (lists instead of tables); no data changes.
