Last of the Wild Project, Version 2, 2005 (LWP-2): Global Human Influence Index (HII) Dataset (IGHP)

The Global Human Influence Index Dataset of the Last of the Wild Project, Version 2, 2005 (LWP-2) is a global dataset of 1-kilometer grid cells, created from nine global data layers covering human population pressure (population density), human land use and infrastructure (built-up areas, nighttime lights, land use/land cover), and human access (coastlines, roads, railroads, navigable rivers). The dataset in Interrupted Goode Homolosine Projection (IGHP) is produced by the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and Columbia University Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN).2005年发布的《荒野遗存项目》（Last of the Wild Project）全球人类影响指数数据集第2版（LWP-2），是一套基于1公里网格单元构建的全球数据集。该数据集依托9类全球数据图层构建，涵盖人类人口压力（人口密度）、人类土地利用与基础设施（建成区、夜间灯光、土地利用/土地覆盖）以及人类可达性（海岸线、道路、铁路、通航河流）。本数据集采用中断古德霍莫洛辛投影（Interrupted Goode Homolosine Projection, IGHP），由野生动物保护协会（Wildlife Conservation Society, WCS）与哥伦比亚大学国际地球科学信息网络中心（Center for International Earth Science Information Network, CIESIN）联合编制完成。
