Net income from personal and commercial banking of RBC 2020-2023, by business line

Personal and commercial banking is Royal Bank of Canada's (RBC) largest division, and the largest business line within this division is personal banking. The net income from personal banking in 2023 was almost three times as high as the net income from business banking that year. The net income grew in 2023 compared to 2022 for both businesses, and the net income for personal banking was around 15.01 billion Canadian dollars in 2023.
