Literature-Derived Dataset of IL-2 Expression Following PCSK1 and CD274 Knockdown in Jurkat and MDA-MB-231 Cells

This dataset supports the study entitled “A New Approach to Breast Cancer Immunotherapy.” The project was conducted as a dry-lab investigation utilizing publicly available experimental data from peer-reviewed literature. Published gel electrophoresis images were independently quantified using ImageJ software, and statistical analyses were performed using GraphPad Prism 8. The dataset contains summarized measurements of interleukin-2 (IL-2) expression, relative gene expression changes associated with siRNA-mediated knockdown of PCSK1 in Jurkat T cells and CD274 (PD-L1) in MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells, and statistical comparisons among experimental groups. The analyses were undertaken to investigate whether simultaneous suppression of inhibitory pathways in immune and tumor cells could restore T-cell activity suppressed by breast cancer cells. This dataset comprises processed and summarized analytical results derived from published open-access studies and independent computational analyses. It is intended to enhance transparency, reproducibility, and accessibility of the findings presented in the associated study.
