Okeanos Explorer Thermosalinograph Deployed 2015-01-01

The Sea-Bird Thermosalinograph 45 Okeanos Explorer was deployed on 2015-01-01 on Okeanos Explorer. The Okeanos Explorer is operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of Ocean Exploration and Research (OER). This device is a Thermosalinograph. Thermosalinographs collect data from the sea surface via flow-through systems on vessels. Typically they are mounted near the front of the vessel in order to minimize contamination.
