Digital terrain model

Digital terrain models (DGM) describe the relief of the earth’s surface through a regular or irregular point grid, with the location and height known for each grid point. A distinction is made between different DGMs depending on height accuracy and grid width.

数字地形模型（Digital Terrain Model，简称DGM）通过规则或不规则点网格表征地球表面的地形起伏，每个网格点均包含明确的位置坐标与高程信息。依据高程精度与网格间距的差异，可划分出多种不同类型的数字地形模型。
