The study examines how politainment programs adapted their strategies on Twitter during the April 2019 general elections to encourage participation, a key challenge in the context of digitalization and social television. Its innovative contribution lies in exploring interaction dynamics from a temporal perspective and identifying specific patterns of audience behavior. The analysis examines 7,059 tweets and 2,771 comments to understand these programs’ communication strategies and prosumers’ behavior, identifying patterns of engagement and participation on the social network.
