Targeted sequencing of Nodal T-Follicular Helper Cell Lymphomas and Peripheral T-Cell Lymphomas, NOS in Slovenian Patients

This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the mutational profiles of Nodal T-follicular helper cell (TFH) lymphomas (nTFHL) and peripheral T-cell lymphomas, not otherwise specified (PTCL-NOS), in a cohort of Slovenian patients. NTFHLs are the most prevalent type of mature nodal T-cell lymphomas in Europe, known for their aggressive nature, poor prognosis, and recurrent expression of TFH markers. Their mutational landscape and the impact of mutations on survival outcomes remain underexplored. This study seeks to fill this knowledge gap by thoroughly examining the clinicopathological features, mutational profiles, and survival outcomes of these lymphomas in Slovenian patients. The cohort includes 99 nPTCL patient samples, all analysed using Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) with a customized, validated, and ISO15189 accredited lymphoma panel, IonAmpliSeq. This panel encompasses 4716 amplicons with a size range of 125-175 base pairs, covering 172 genes relevant to lymphoma.
