Metadata of "Zinc and IL-6: Biomarkers of Neonatal Sepsis Risk and Immune Response in Newborns"

This dataset contains raw and processed data from the study “Zinc and IL‑6: Biomarkers of Neonatal Sepsis Risk and Immune Response in Newborns.” It includes serum zinc and IL‑6 measurements, demographic variables (gestational age, birth weight, maternal age, parity, and sex), and group classifications (control vs. sepsis‑risk). Data were collected prospectively from neonates born at Ulin General Hospital, Banjarmasin, Indonesia, between October 2020 and July 2021. The dataset supports the statistical analyses and findings reported in the published article.
