Potential geothermal energy South Holland — fault lines Basis Rijnland Group

On behalf of the province of Zuid-Holland, IF-Technology conducted the study ‘Potential geothermal energy in Zuid-Holland’, 2 December 2016. The potential maps present fractions of the base of the Rijnland Group, Schieland Group and the Under Germanic Trias Group. The data comes from NLOG.nl, 2016. For a design and/or feasibility study, it is necessary to zoom in on the nature of the fracture system (a barrier or rather open). The effect of fractures has not been taken into account for the present potential study. Geothermal energy is also known as geothermal heat.
