Expression data from NE or CORT exposed ADXSCGX mice eye

Abnormal IOP or IOP rhythm can cause glaucoma development. Intraocular pressure (IOP) has circadian rhythm with nocturnal peak in both nocturnal and diurnal animals. We used microarrays to detail the mechamisms of circadian rhythm of intraocular pressure because SCG-NE and adrenal CORT transmit time information to the eye. C57BL/6J male mice were used for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays. In our previous report, we found that NE or CORT instillation to SCGX and ADX mice eye can induce IOP increase. We instilated NE or CORT to ADX and SCGX mice eye, after 4 hours, we collected eye for RNA extraction.
