VPRS 19104 Legal Contracts and Agreements

This series comprises legal contracts and agreements relating to the Royal Melbourne Hospital (VA 1048). Contract files include related correspondence and some legal opinions, and two Registers of Contracts signed under Seal. These are the extant contracts that are of significance because they detail properties owned or once owned by the hospital, or contracts relating to important services, grants, or relationships in the hospital's history. Routine contracts related to maintenance, staff, supply, equipment, or insurance have not been transferred to PROV and remain in the RMH Archives. Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Archives.
