Nature Exposure Pathophysiology Theory: A Systems Model for Chronic Pain, Mobility, and Emotional Regulation

Chronic pain, mobility impairment, and emotional dysregulation are not three problems. They are one problem expressed across different biological scales. Modern medicine treats them separately: pain to rheumatology, movement to orthopedics, emotion to psychiatry. The result is predictable, polypharmacy, contradictory treatment plans, and persistent functional decline despite guideline-adherent care. The underlying biology tells a different story.
