IL-25-induced effector-memory ILC2s mediate small intestinal adaptation [scRNA-Seq 1]

This study used single cell RNA sequencing of small intestinal ILC2s +60 days after helminth infection (Nippostrongylus brasiliensis-Nb. or Heligmosomoides polygyrus, Hp.) and in age matched naïve mice (Ctrl) to study memory ILC2 gene signatures after helminth infection. Mice were infected with a given helminth (Nb, Hp) and allowed to rest for +60 days or age matched naïve mice (Ctrl). ILC2s (KLRG1+, CD3-, CD8a-, CD4-, CD19-, NKp46-, NK1.1-, F4/80-, Gr1-, CD11b-, CD11c-, Ter119- ) were then sort purified from the small intestine (proximal 1/3) lamina propria. Cells were then used for single cell RNA sequencing using the 10x Genomics platform.
