资源简介:
This dataset provides numerical descriptions of 80 watershed characteristics for 1,703 watersheds with observed streamflow information at U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) streamflow-gaging stations (gages). These gages are all located within the states of Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico (east of the continental divide), but the watersheds extend outside of these boundaries. Characteristics are indexed by National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) version 2.2.1 Permanent_Identifier (PERMID; string that uniquely identifies each feature in the NHD) and USGS identification number for streamflow-gaging station (gage). The following watershed characteristics are included: watershed centroid, area, perimeter, basin shape index, sinuosity, drainage area, contributing drainage area, functional drainage area, summed values per watershed from the National Inventory of Dams (NID), mean watershed slope, main-channel slope, 10-85 slope, gage point elevation, mean elevation per watershed, mean annual precipitation per gage, mean annual and monthly precipitation per watershed, mean annual and monthly solar radiation per gage, mean annual and monthly solar radiation per watershed, hydrologic soil groups per watershed, and land cover per watershed. The watershed characteristics in this dataset are used to describe both the point at the USGS streamflow-gaging station and the full watershed that defines each site. Also included is a table listing all NID storage structures in the study area by watershed, indexed by USGS identification number.
