资源简介:
Hypoxia (low oxygen concentration) is a key feature of most solid tumours. Increased activation of hypoxia inducible factor (HIF) transcription factors is a key feature of most human cancers and is associated with treatment resistance and poor patient prognosis using front line treatments. HIF controls a variety of cellular responses that enables tumour cells to survive, metabolically adapt and metastasize. Harnessing hypoxia responses and preventing HIF activation in tumour cells blocks tumour progression and metastasis and improves the efficacy of several treatments used clinically.
