7 images. Fall fashion market week for men's wear at Ambassador Hotel, 25 May 1952. Paul de Fonville; Norma Neighbors; Tim Taylor; Bill Froelich; Art Moore.; Supplementary material reads: "Davis Dict. Captions for Men's show at Ambassador. Larry Miller's. 49-50: L to r: Bill Froelich, wearing novelty shirt for fall which points up the fashion pace in neat stripes; the Cotle is made from long staple combed cotton pique, the shirt features the new short round collar, a fall style note -- Art Moore, wearing 'country Squire' for leisure wear in city or on vacation, made of luxurious sheen gabardine with crease resistant finish, having one-pleat pocket with picking on collar and flaps. It's in tin color, the covered shank buttons are an interesting masculine touch. 51-52: Tim Taylor wearing a gingham checked shirt with new rounded collar which does not need any stays and is constructed for comfort, with French cuffs giving just the right dressy touch. Note, too, the very narrow knitted tie, a new touch. 45-46: Paul de Fonville, and Norma Neighbors, both wearing two-button sports coats in suede, to be one of the most popular garments og forthcoming season -- most luxurious. Patch pockets with flaps, shoulders are narrower than last year and the suede has been treated to be water repellent, soil resistant and doesn't spot from the rain".
