资源简介:
Sapajus apella, the tufted capuchin, is Neotropical primate (Platyrrhini) found in Amazonia. Capuchins are characterised by an extensive behavioural repertoire and plasticity, with many striking similarities to humans and apes, including social conventions and local culture, complex social environment, extensive cooperation high dexterity, tool use and extractive foraging, intelligence, and delayed life history. These traits are uncommon (or absent) among other Neotropical primates and it is of great interest to primatology, anthropology, and evolutionary biology to understand the evolutionary trajectory of capuchin monkeys.
