Brain transcriptome analysis in the cortex and hippocampus of Cyfip2 heterozygous mice at three different postnatal stages

To investigate age-dependent molecular changes in the cortex and hippocampus of Cyfip2 heterozygous mice, we conducted transcriptome analysis at postnatal weeks 1, 7, and 14. Overall design: We dissected the frontal cortex and hippocampal regions from both hemispheres of each mouse. WT and Cyfip2 heterozygous mice were littermates, with four mice (replicates) prepared for each age-genotype group. After dissection, tissue samples were stored in RNAlater at 4°C overnight and then at -80°C before being processed further for RNA extraction.
