15079 — Verification of residence permits by employers

Since 1 July 2007, employers are obliged to check with the administration the administrative situation of foreigners applying for employment (article L. 5221-8 of the Labour Code). After six years of implementation, the metropolis prefectures were seized at 3,527,028 times allowing the detection of 31,325 false documents (0.89 %).自2007年7月1日起，雇主须向行政主管部门核查申请就业的外国人的行政合规状况，相关要求出自《劳动法典》第L.5221-8条。该制度实施六年后，大都会省府累计受理核查申请3527028次，期间共查获伪造证件31325份，占总核查量的0.89%。
