资源简介:
Pasteurella multocida, a zoonotic opportunistic pathogen, exhibits enhanced pathogenicity in its serotype A variants (e.g., strain PmCQ2) under host stress conditions, often leading to high morbidity and substantial economic losses in the global livestock industry. Despite extensive recognition of its pathogenic hazards, the underlying molecular mechanisms remain incompletely elucidated, severely hindering the development of effective preventive and control strategies. Previous studies have implicated threonine metabolism as a critical regulatory factor in the pathogenicity of P. multocida. To clarify the role of threonine in mediating the pathogenic mechanisms of strain PmCQ2, this study designed three experimental groups: PmCQ2 infection group, PmCQ2 infection combined with threonine treatment group, and blank control group. Transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis was performed on lung tissues collected from each group to systematically investigate differential host gene expression profiles under threonine regulation, thereby providing empirical data for deciphering the threonine-mediated molecular pathways underlying bacterial pathogenicity.
