RNA-seq analysis lncRNA and mRNA between crushed sciatic nerves and intact contralateral nerves

To investigate the potential function of lncRNAs in Schwann cell (SCs) response to sciatic nerve damage and repair, we extracted the total RNA of crushed sciatic nerves and intact contralateral nerves for RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq). A total of 98 differentially expressed lncRNAs (including 46 up-regulated and 52 down-regulated lncRNAs) and 77 differentially expressed mRNAs (including 55 up-regulated and 22 down-regulated mRNAs) were identified between crushed sciatic nerves and normal control (log 2 FC > 1 and p < 0.001).为探究长链非编码RNA（long non-coding RNAs, lncRNAs）在雪旺细胞（Schwann cell, SCs）响应坐骨神经损伤与修复过程中的潜在功能，我们分别提取了挤压损伤坐骨神经及完整对侧坐骨神经的总RNA，进行RNA测序（RNA-seq）分析。经差异表达分析，在挤压损伤坐骨神经与正常对照样本间，共鉴定出98个差异表达的长链非编码RNA（其中46个上调、52个下调）以及77个差异表达的信使RNA（messenger RNA, mRNA）（其中55个上调、22个下调），筛选条件为log₂FC > 1且p < 0.001。
