Social contact data for the BHDSS and FWHDSS in the Gambia (2022)

Social contact data for people in the Basse and Fuladu West Health and Demographic Surveillance Systems (BHDSS and FWDHSS) in the Gambia. Participants reported all their direct contacts in the 24 hours preceding the survey. This survey was conducted in 2022. Data is formatted to be used in the socialmixr package in R.

Note, for a subset of school-going participants, school contacts were observed in the classroom for a two hour period. The list of participants needs to be filtered accordingly to ensure the correct denominators are applied when calculating contact rates.
