Honor Frost Slides Descriptive Metadata

A collection of more than 5,000 digitised slides taken by the maritime archaeologist Honor Frost. Covering a half century from the mid-1950s to the early twenty-first century, there is a particular concentration of artefacts, seascapes and landscapes of the Mediterranean, and of wrecked ships. The slides were digitised in 2023-4 by staff of University of Southampton Archives and Special Collections, from the originals in their care, and those images are available to view in the Digital Viewer. Together they constitute the subdivision of the Honor Frost Archive with reference MS439/A4278/HFA/8/3/1-17: https://southampton.epexio.com/records/MS439/A4278/HFA/8/3This dataset contains the descriptive metadata attached to the images, but not the images themselves.
