Survey of Census Users, 1987

<P>Abstract copyright UK Data Service and data collection copyright owner.</P><br>The aims of this study were to assess the relative demand for various options on content and dissemination of the 1991 Census among academics.<br>
The survey was conducted as part of a consultation exercise initiated by the Census Offices about the 1991 Census. To co-ordinate the views of academics, the ESRC set up a working party on the 1991 Census which conducted this survey, and eventually reported back to the Census Offices.<br>
