Country-year panel of 12 Gulf of Guinea coastal states (Nigeria, Ghana, Benin, Togo, Cote d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Angola) observed annually from 2005 to 2024 (240 observations). Constructed from public secondary sources: maritime incident records (US National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency), fisheries production and export-value statistics (FAO), governance indicators (World Bank Worldwide Governance Indicators), and economic/demographic controls (World Bank World Development Indicators).
