Internal Conjugate States of Matter: Stability, Degradation, and the Emergence of Time

This preprint proposes a speculative theoretical framework in which material stability, aging, irreversible degradation, radioactivity, and time emergence arise from internal conjugate states inherent to matter. Energy induces phase transitions within these states rather than creating them. The framework is compatible with established physics and offers indirect testable implications.
