RNA-seq analysis of a CRISPR/Cas9-generated EpOME receptor (SeEpOMER) mutant in Spodoptera exigua

This BioProject presents RNA-seq data generated to investigate the transcriptomic consequences of disrupting the epoxyoctadecamonoenoic acid (EpOME) receptor in the beet armyworm Spodoptera exigua (SeEpOMER). Comparative transcriptome profiling of wild-type and CRISPR/Cas9-generated SeEpOMER deletion mutants, under EpOME treatment and control conditions, revealed extensive gene expression changes associated with immune responses, lipid and oxylipin metabolism, and endocrine regulation of larval development.
