This dataset locates perimeters with remarkable landscape characteristics within the Walloon territory. The Landscape Interest Perimeters (PIPs) are introduced in Article 40 of the CWATUPE, which states that “the Area Plan may include, in overprinting to the areas of assignment, areas of landscape interest, which have a regulatory value and may be subject to special prescription”. According to Article 452/22 of the CWATUPE, “The Perimeter of Landscape Interest” refers to the maintenance, formation or recomposition of the landscape. Acts and works subject to permits may be authorised, provided that they are part of the landscape. Within these areas, the landscape is the preponderant criterion for assessing the acceptability of a project. Finally, the SDER defines the perimeter of landscape interest "delimits a space within which the elements of the landscape are harmoniously disposed of. The acts and works can be carried out there provided that they fit perfectly with built and unbuilt sites and do not jeopardise the aesthetic value of the landscape. Initially, the data available at the PIP level were derived from the landscape areas of interest of the sector plan. These data have been revised by an inventory carried out by ASBL ADESA (Action et Défense de l’Environnement de la Senne and its Affluents) over the last few decades, using a methodology of its own which consisted of analysing the quality of the landscape according to 6 criteria of aesthetic, non-mathematical and usable throughout the territory of the region. These included depth of field or length of view, variety, vertical dimension, presence of successive planes, harmony and rarity. Some PIPs have been deleted to be replaced by a Remarkable Viewpoint (PVR). This is the case when it is the view that has been of interest and not the landscape itself. This dataset was created in 2015

近数十年来,ASBL ADESA(Action et Défense de l’Environnement de la Senne and its Affluents)采用自有方法开展清查,对这些数据进行了修订;该方法以6项适用于全区域的非量化美学标准评估景观质量,具体包括景深或视域长度、景观多样性、竖向维度、连续层次的存在性、协调性与稀缺性。
