*All genes are tabulated which have a translation efficiency of mutant/wt of ≥2, if they have a more than twofold higher efficiency in the mutant, or ≤0.5, if they have a more than twofold lower efficiency in the mutant. The translational efficiency is calculated from the quotient of a transcript in the polysomal fraction and in the fraction of free, untranslated RNA. ORF numbers and gene names were taken from Halolex (halolex.mpg.de).s.d. = standard deviation, n = number of experiments.
