Genome sequences of five Streptomyces type strains (Streptomyces argenteolus, Streptomyces pratensis, Streptomyces puniceus, Streptomyces spiroverticillatus, and Streptomyces sundarbansensis)

We sequenced the genomes of five Streptomyces type strains whose genomes were either not publicly available or of poor quality. This will help identify Streptomyces isolates to the species level, as well as facilitate the description of new species within this large and important genus.
