Sequence-based screen for mutants delaying lethality caused by loss of let-23 in C. elegans

Animals heterozygous for a null mutation in the EGF-receptor ortholog gene let-23 in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans were mutagenized using EMS. In the second generation following mutagenesis, animals homozygous for the let-23 null mutation that displayed delayed lethality were lysed, converted into Illumina sequencing libraries, and sequenced.
