Dataset S1 for "Topographic Anchoring and the "Silent Period" of Deep-water Polynyas in the 90°W–90°E Antarctic Sector"

This dataset provides annual lifecycle statistics for identified Antarctic coastal polynyas from 2003 to 2022, including first/last appearance dates, span days, active days, persistence ratio, mean area, and maximum area. These statistics are derived from the Daily Edge of Each Polynya in Antarctica (DEEP-AA) dataset (Lin et al., 2024), which provides daily polynya extent maps.
