资源简介:

This dataset contains the complete figure architecture supporting The Demographic Load Doctrine: Population Growth, Agricultural Land Loss, Water Scarcity, and Consumer Price Stability Through 2100. The package includes Figures 1–5 and is intended to be read as an integrated systems framework rather than as a collection of independent illustrations. Figure 1 presents official U.S. Census Bureau population projections under alternative immigration scenarios through 2100 and establishes the demographic demand variable. Figure 2 presents USDA Census of Agriculture data showing long-term trends in U.S. farms and farmland, establishing the agricultural land-capacity constraint. Figure 3 incorporates USDA Economic Research Service projections regarding climate change and surface-water shortage severity across portions of the U.S. Southwest, providing a productive-capacity adjustment to nominal farmland acreage. Figure 4 presents the Scarcity-to-Consumer-Price Transmission Chain, an author-generated conceptual model illustrating how demographic demand, land constraints, water scarcity, infrastructure load, energy demand, and transportation demand may transmit through production, processing, transportation, and retail systems before appearing as household burden and national-resilience effects. Figure 5 serves as the integrative systems map for the doctrine. It links Figures 1–4 into a unified analytical architecture demonstrating how population growth interacts with agricultural land availability, water-constrained productive capacity, consumer-price transmission mechanisms, household burden, institutional load, and national resilience. Figure 5 should be interpreted as a systems map rather than a predictive model. The central contribution of this figure package is not the introduction of a new dataset, but the integration of official demographic, agricultural, water-resource, consumer-price, and resilience frameworks into a single capacity-oriented analytical structure. The figures collectively illustrate the doctrine’s core proposition that population growth becomes a national-resilience issue when demographic demand exceeds the adaptive capacity of food, water, land, housing, energy, infrastructure, affordability, and institutional-support systems. The dataset is intended for scholarly, educational, policy-analysis, and archival purposes. Potential audiences include researchers, universities, legislative staff, government agencies, think tanks, public-policy institutions, and national-security practitioners interested in demographic change, agricultural capacity, water scarcity, consumer-price stability, infrastructure planning, and resilience analysis.
