3D-footprint

3D-footprint is a living database, updated and curated on a weekly basis, which provides estimates of binding specificity for all protein-DNA complexes available at the Protein Data Bank. The web interface allows the user to: (i) browse DNA-binding proteins by keyword; (ii) find proteins that recognize a similar DNA motif and (iii) BLAST similar DNA-binding proteins, highlighting interface residues in the resulting alignments.3D足迹数据库（3D-footprint）是一个每周更新并经人工整理审核的动态数据库，可为蛋白质数据银行（Protein Data Bank）收录的所有蛋白质-DNA复合物提供结合特异性评估结果。该数据库的网页界面支持用户完成以下操作：(i) 基于关键词检索DNA结合蛋白；(ii) 查找可识别相似DNA基序的蛋白质；(iii) 对相似DNA结合蛋白进行BLAST比对，并在生成的比对结果中标记出结合界面的残基。
