Quality Electronic Registration of Medical acts, Implants and Devices: Orthopedic Prosthesis Identification Data: Hip

The aim of this project is to make a registration system available to orthopedists that allows them to register information related to the placement of hip prostheses in order to create a “Belgian register of joint replacements”. The purpose of this register consists of: a) collecting data to enable professionals to examine the quality of care during hip prosthesis placement; b) providing information about the type of prostheses placed on a patient when he or she comes for a consultation, so that accessories can be appropriately ordered if necessary; and c) determining the lifespan of the prostheses. This project concerns the hip prostheses.本项目旨在为骨科医师（orthopedists）搭建一套登记系统，使其可录入与髋关节假体（hip prostheses）植入相关的各类信息，进而构建「比利时关节置换登记库（Belgian register of joint replacements）」。该登记库的建设目标如下：a）采集数据，以供专业人员评估髋关节假体植入环节的医疗服务质量；b）在患者复诊时提供其既往植入的假体类型信息，便于按需合理配发配套配件；c）明确假体的使用寿命。本项目围绕髋关节假体展开。
