16S rRNA gene sequencing data of a synthetic gut community containing Roseburia intestinalis, Blautia hydrogenotrophica, Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron, Faecalibacterium prausnitzii and Prevotella copri. Bacteria were grown in microbioreactors (as an emulated chemostat) for 308 hours. Samples of every 8 hours were sequenced. A pH perturbation was carried out between t88 and t112 and a feed perturbation was carried out between t150 and t162.
