Annual Firearms Manufacturing and Export Report, 2017

ATF_ARMER2017.zip contains the data originally distributed in the .PDF report from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF): "Annual Firearms Manufacturing and Export Report, 2017." This document listed the names, locations, and numbers of firearms, by type, manufactured and exported from each federal firearms licensed manufacturer in the US. The .pdf lists were converted into .csv data files, and separated by firearm type. These are included in the zipfile. The data were also merged by RDS KEY to identify total number of firearms per facility. The data are locationally based, and some companies have multiple locations and RDS keys. Adding to the original report, these data files aggregate exports and number of firearms of all type, by RDS key.
