O performatywności ciał osobliwych. Trzy narracje o niepełnosprawnym ciele, reprezentacji i transgresji / About Performativity of Peculiar Bodies. Three Narrations of a Disabled Body, Representation and Transgression

The article is an attempt to look at disabled bodies from the perspective of their performativity understood here as taking control over dominant in culture scripts of looking at bodily peculiarity. The text focuses on three, in the end ambiguous, examples of such performances, which seem interesting not only because they are placed within strategies of dealing with disability but also because it is possible to link them with important fields<br>of reflection: trans- or posthumanism, the meaning of Otherness as well as potential reappropriations of dominant cultural representations.
