Topics: judgement on the economic situation of the FRG and assessment
of further economic development; political interest; most important
political events in the last year; judgement on relations with the GDR;
party preference (ballot procedure and rank order procedure);
characterization of current SPD/FDP government; most important
political tasks of the Federal Republic; party inclination; party
identification; sympathy scale for parties; task preference in the
education area; assessment of relationship of price increases and wage
or salary increases; expected price development next year;
self-assessment and classification of parties on a left-right
continuum; assessment of importance of selected issues and the supposed
position of the CDU/CSU as well as the SPD on these questions; attitude
to employment of radicals in the civil service as teachers as well as
civil servants; use of money given a fictitious doubling of personal
income; familiarity of the Jusos {young socialists} and their expected
influence on political events in the Federal Republic; behavior at the
polls in the last Federal Parliament election; designation of groups
and persons, dangerous to the state; attitude to saving (scale).

occupational position; current and earlier employment; monthly net
income of head of household; monthly net household income; number of
