Collection of butterflies (Insecta: Lepidoptera) of the State Museum of Natural History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

This set contains data on the distribution of butterflies in western Ukraine and Poland. The assembly is the oldest known for the territory of western Ukraine. These data were obtained from the entomological collection of the State Museum of Natural History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The main part of the collection falls on the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, collected by entomologists: Nowicki M., Łomnicki J., Łomnicki M., Smulikowski Z., Stöckl A., Świątkiewicz M., Toll S., Jarosiewicz J., Dworżak L., Rizun V.B., Yanytskyi T.P.
This dataset is created and maintained by Dr. Kateryna Hushtan and Dr. Volodymyr Rizun from the State Museum of Natural History, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (SMNH NASU). 本数据集涵盖乌克兰西部与波兰境内的蝴蝶分布数据。该汇编为目前已知的乌克兰西部地域范围内最古老的同类资料集。本数据集的数据源自乌克兰国家科学院国家自然历史博物馆（State Museum of Natural History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine，缩写SMNH NASU）的昆虫馆藏标本。馆藏标本的主体采集时段为19世纪末至20世纪初，采集者包括昆虫学家Nowicki M.、Łomnicki J.、Łomnicki M.、Smulikowski Z.、Stöckl A.、Świątkiewicz M.、Toll S.、Jarosiewicz J.、Dworżak L.、Rizun V.B.、Yanytskyi T.P.。
本数据集由乌克兰国家科学院国家自然历史博物馆（SMNH NASU）的Kateryna Hushtan博士与Volodymyr Rizun博士创建并维护。本数据集依托项目《受敌对行动及相关因素损毁的自然历史馆藏数字化：规程制定与乌克兰国家科学院国家自然历史博物馆落地实施》创建完成。
