PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR THE FORMATION OF COGNITIVE SKILLS IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

Abstract: The article analyzes the pedagogical conditions for the formation of cognitive skills in preschool children from theoretical, methodological and practical perspectives. Cognitive skills are interpreted as an integrated system of perception, attention, memory, imagination, speech-based thinking, understanding of problem situations and creative problem solving. The study substantiates the interdependence of a developmental environment, play-based activity, teacher guidance, a differentiated approach, family cooperation, observation and criteria-based assessment. The findings indicate that cognitive development in preschool education is not a spontaneous process but the outcome of a scientifically designed pedagogical system.
