CH4 emissions estimates from "Uncertainty and retrieval sensitivity in TROPOMI-based methane inversions over the North Slope of Alaska".

This dataset contains monthly sectoral CH4 emissions estimates over the North Slope of Alaska using observations from two TROPOMI products for 2018-2020 (the University of Bremen’s WFM-DOAS v1.8 and the SRON operational product v2.04.00) and observations from surface sites. Emissions estimates are used in the study "Ward et al., 2025 - Uncertainty and retrieval sensitivity in TROPOMI-based methane inversions over the North Slope of Alaska" currently in review. Emissions were derived using the RHIME inverse model from the University of Bristol's Atmospheric Chemistry Research Group.
