Brevibacterium sp. K11IcPPYGO002 was isolated from the Coastal sand dune of Keri Beach, Goa, India. To name a few of the industrial applications of this strain are production of enzymes, osmolytes, attractants, pigments, aromatics, antimicrobials, amino acids, and compatible solutes. This strain has wide usage in food, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, aquaculture etc. This strain can be of interest to study the mechanism of salt tolerance.
