We injected GFP tagged mouse metastatic breast cancer cell line, 4T1 (4T1GFP) into the mammary fat-pad of BALB/c mice. From 4T1GFP primary tumor, we obtained two distinct tumor cell subpopulations that differed in terms of their in vitro and in vivo phenotypes with one subpopulation being more aggresive compared to the other. We performed transcriptomic analysis using RNA sequencing to identify the molecular mediators of this intratumoral phenotypic heterogeneity. Transcriptomic analysis was performed on three independent replicates of aggressive 4T1A and non-aggressive 4T1NA 4T1GFP subpopulations to identify the molecular regulators of intratumoral phenotypic heterogeneity
