This include results obtained in a study about the production of amyloid fibrils by Streptococcus sanguinis, a major commensal bacteria of dental biofilms. The results indicate the influence of the production of amyloid-like components by S. sanguinis in phenotypes of biofilm formation, complement evasion and persistence in blood. These data will be submitted for publication in an open access journal.
