资源简介:

These files contain critical data obtained through experiments or analyses, which serve as the foundational data for this study. Supplementary Data Table 1 provides detailed sampling information for 155 marine sediment samples globally, including coordinates, sampling depth, date of collection, research area, depth zones, cruise details, research vessel, and sampling tools and models. Supplementary Data Table 2 presents the abundance of microplastics in marine sediments, both in terms of number and mass, including the abundance of 21 microplastic categorys. Supplementary Data Table 3 presents the basic morphological characteristics of the monitored microplastics, including abundance data for 19 color types, 7 shape categories, 87 detailed polymer types, and 6 size ranges. Supplementary Data Table 4 provides the average carbon concentration and carbon ratio in microplastics from each sediment sample. Supplementary Data Table 5 provides environmental parameters for each sediment sampling site, including physical parameters describing surface waves, Stokes drift rate of particles, TOM and TOC content in sediments, and the corresponding particle size of microplastics. Supplementary Data Table 6 provides global ocean 2D latitude-longitude grid data at a resolution of 0.5° and the corresponding SRTM15+V2.6 seabed depth data at a resolution of 1 arc minute. Supplementary Data Table 7, Table MP Extraction Process presents key information extracted from 95 published microplastic studies, including basic sediment sampling information, the microplastic extraction process, and abundance data for microplastics. Hence, table MP Correction Process presents microplastic abundance data corrected to full size based on the selected extraction solutions, digestion solutions, and identification tools from the literature. Supplementary Data Table 8 provides physical parameters for surface waves and seabed currents at all sampling points, valid literature points, and global ocean 2D latitude-longitude grid points. Supplementary Data Table 9, Table Three Prediction Methods presents the performance of three machine learning models applied to microplastic abundance at sampling points and literature points, with data split into training and testing sets. Table Keras for Predicting Abundancd presents the predicted abundance of microplastics in marine sediments at global ocean 2D latitude-longitude grid points, based on the BP neural network model implemented in the Keras framework.
