p-distances for a new species of Gastrotheca from Peru

Genetic distances (uncorrected p-distances) estimated from a fragment of the non-coding 16S rRNA mitochondrial fragment between a new species of Gastrotheca from Peru and its closest relatives (54 species of Gastrotheca). The number of base differences per site from between sequences are shown. The analytical procedure encompassed 56 nucleotide sequences. The pairwise deletion option was applied to all ambiguous positions for each sequence pair resulting in a final data set comprising 566 positions.
