资源简介:

These datasets are from two years of data collected to evaluate the effect of spray pattern and carrier volume on perennial groundcover (PGC) suppression. The experiment was conducted on an established, two-year-old stand of Kentucky bluegrass. Glufosinate was applied for suppression at a rate of 0.45 kg a.i. per hectare. Conditions prior to suppression, fraction PGC cover, and fraction of PGC that was inactive vs. active or brown vs. green (derived from image analysis) were measured. The suppression application coverage, measured using Kromekote cards, and the fraction of PGC inactive vs. active (tracked over 4-5 weeks after the suppression application, derived from image analysis) are included in the datasets. Acknowledgments: This research was funded by the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative Competitive Grant No. 2021-68012-35923 from the United States Department of Agriculture National Institute for Food and Agriculture. Any opinions, findings, conclusions, or recommendations expressed in this presentation are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the view of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
