资源简介:
Somatic mutations in p53 gene have been frequently detected in esophageal cancer, however molecular mechanisms involved in the occurrence of lesions are not clear. Study in p53 mutant mouse model showed that p53 mutant cells have growth advantage over wild type cells leading clonal expnasion. In addition, further loss of heterozygosity (p53*/-) seems to associated with aneuploidy which is one of most frequent events in solid tumors.
